Kai & Hollis / Marlene at The Harrison Kings Cross Oct 10th

£12.00

Special gig celebrating the making of our second album!

Kai & Hollis are a Bristol-based band making alt-pop earworms with a cynical smile. Music for people who want to feel optimistic but don't. With a mellow blend of jangly guitar riffs, minimal drumming, vocal harmonies and humorously introspective lyrics, they create compact songs that are knowingly relatable and playfully dark. They will be playing songs from their forthcoming second album, Things Are Bad But You Are Good, recorded earlier this year with Mike West.

We are also joined by Marlene - a four-piece psych-folk band formed through chance meetings between Berlin and London. Their sound blends crackling folk vocals, Phrygian psych guitar, soulful bassoon.

Doors 7.30pm, Show 8pm
